About TIVOREL

TIVOREL contains the active substances levocarnitine and arginine hydrochloride. Arginine is a conditionally essential amino acid that plays an important role in numerous vital body functions. It has antihypoxic, membrane-stabilizing, cytoprotective, antioxidant, and antiradical effects.

Composition

1 ml of TIVOREL solution contains 42 mg of arginine hydrochloride and 20 mg of levocarnitine. The excipient is water for injections.

Indications

TIVOREL is used as part of complex therapy for coronary heart disease.

Pharmacological properties

Arginine exerts antihypoxic, membrane-stabilizing, cytoprotective, antioxidant, antiradical, and detoxifying effects, and acts as an active regulator of intermediary metabolism and energy supply processes. It participates in the synthesis of proline, polyamine, and agmatine, and is involved in fibrinogenolysis and spermatogenesis processes.
