About ФІБРИНАЗА-20

ФІБРИНАЗА-20 is a medicinal product with serine protease as its active ingredient. This enzyme is obtained from non-pathogenic intestinal bacteria Serratia E15. The preparation has pronounced anti-inflammatory, antinociceptive, and fibrinolytic effects.

Composition

The main component is serine protease. Each tablet contains 20 mg of active substance, corresponding to a enzymatic activity of 40,000 IU. Auxiliary substances include microcrystalline cellulose, polyvinylpyrrolidone, magnesium stearate, talc, sodium carboxymethyl starch, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, titanium dioxide, iron oxide red, castor oil, diethyl phthalate, and polyethylene glycol (PEG 6000).

Indications

The preparation is used in surgery for stretching, ruptures of ligaments, fractures, dislocations, and edema after plastic operations. In pulmonology, the agent helps to reduce the viscosity of sputum and facilitate its expulsion. It is also indicated for diseases of the LOR organs to promote the drainage of secretions from sinuses, acute inflammatory dermatoses, hematomas, and stagnation in mammary glands.

Pharmacological Properties

Serine protease reduces pain by blocking the release of painamines from tissues affected by inflammation. It controls capillary permeability and reduces their dilation through the hydrolysis of histamine, bradykinin, and serotonin. The preparation promotes fibrinolytic activity by blocking plasmin inhibitors and reduces the level of inflammatory mediators in the site of injury. The enzymatic activity of serine protease is ten times higher than that of α-chymotrypsin.
