Active Ingredient & Action

The vaccine contains a maximum of three purified, inactivated foot-and-mouth disease virus strains selected from the following: O1 Manisa, O1 BFS, O Taiwan 3/97, A22 Iraq, A24 Cruzeiro, A Turkey 14/98, Asia 1 Shamir, or SAT2 Saudi Arabia. Each strain is standardized to a minimum of 6 PD50, representing the 50% protective dose in cattle as defined by the European Pharmacopoeia monograph 0063.
