ХОНДРОЇТИНОВА МАЗЬ contains chondroitin sulfate sodium as the active ingredient. This cream is used for the treatment of joint and spinal diseases. The active ingredient is extracted from the cartilage tissue of the trachea of the large ruminant.
Composition
100 g of the cream contains 5 g of sodium chondroitin sulfate. The preparation also includes auxiliary substances: dimethyl sulfoxide, lanolin, soft white paraffin, and purified water.
Indications
ХОНДРОЇТИНОВА МАЗЬ is applied for the treatment of degenerative-dystrophic diseases of joints and the spine, such as osteoarthritis and osteochondrosis.
Pharmacological Properties
Chondroitin sulfate sodium exerts chondroprotective, chondrostimulating, regenerative, anti-inflammatory, and analgesic effects. It improves the phosphorus-calcium metabolism in cartilage tissue and slows down the resorption of bone tissue.
