About ФАВІПІРАВІР
ФАВІПІРАВІР is a medicinal product containing the same active substance. The drug is available in the form of tablets for oral use.
Composition
Each tablet contains 200 mg of favipiravir. Additional components include hydroxypropyl cellulose low-substituted, polyvinylpyrrolidone, colloidal anhydrous silica, crospovidone, and sodium stearyl fumarate.
The tablet coating consists of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, polyethylene glycol 6000 (macrogol 6000), talc, titanium dioxide (E 171), and iron oxide yellow (E 172).
Indications
The drug is prescribed for the treatment of pandemic infections caused by the influenza virus (both new and recurrent). Its use is advisable in cases where treatment with other antiviral agents has been found to be insufficiently effective or has not been successful.
